"The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance."

2 Peter 3:9

We all bear the marks of life’s journey—some scars run deep and are easily seen, while others remain hidden beneath the surface; some are physical, but most reside in the realm of the heart. These scars shape us, molding our character and spirit.

Scars

We carry with us the wounds of loss and grief, the violations of abuse, the pain of chronic illness or injury, the betrayal of broken trust, and the sting of cruel words. We all have scars, yet, when we encounter someone who not only perceives our scars but embraces them, we find the possibility of mutual growth and healing.

There is a profound vulnerability and exquisite beauty in baring our scars to others. It is in this openness that true healing begins.
